SQN Electronics Ltd can supply a wide range of cable looms for linking the mixers to recorders and video cameras. The most common ones are listed in the Price List but many variants are available to order from the factory.

The looms are constructed using a wide range of connectors and the special SQN cables illustrated below.

Special Cable Assemblies and Adaptors

SQN-SCA

Second Camera Adaptor: provides second interface to the SQN-5S Series II.

Taking advantage of the separate pair of electronically balanced output line drivers and monitor return input [EX2], this adaptor connects to standard SQN extension cables and the chosen SQN "tails" section to permit the uncompromised use of two cameras or recorders.

The SQN-SCA adapter can be ordered from stock to interface with either Tajimi or Hirose connectors and other interface options (eg. Neutrik XLR-7) are available to order.

SQN-X7S splitter lead (standard configuration)

The SQN-4S_mini mk II offers individual pre-fader output of each channel (Ch.1-Ch.4), and also Ch.Left and Ch.Right via its 7-pin XLR ITT Cannon chassis connector. Line up tone is also presented.

In its standard configuration, the Neutrik XLR-7F connector of the SQN-X7S cable assembly presents the output of individual channels on Neutrik XLR-3M connectors and Ch.Left / Ch.Right output on a 3.5mm (female) TRS connector.

The standard length of this assembly (60cm) permits connection to a recorder whose inputs are on the opposite side to the XLR-7M output connector of the SQN-4S_mini mk II when mixer and recorder are 'stacked' or share an equipment bag.

SQN-X7_V (variant)

For use with the SQN-4S_mini mk II, the cable illustrated presents the unbalanced output of Ch.Left / Ch.Right on a 3.5mm (male) TRS connector.

Typically used to interface with the mic input sockets of DSLR cameras, the -10dBV output on the XLR-7M chassis connector of the SQN-4S_mini mk II is attenuated within the cable to suit the requirments of particular cameras.

Again for use with the SQN-4S_mini mk II, the -10dBV unbalanced output of Ch.Left / Ch.Rightits on its XLR-7M chassis connector can be presented on twin RCA Phono connectors, with attenuation provided to suit the input requirments of particular devices
